FAQs

What does an average kitchen cost?

We can design a varying range of kitchens, so it's important that you let us know what sort of budget you have available, so that we design something suitable. We can design kitchens costing less than £5,000, by using our price category 1 kitchens. For examples of kitchen prices using different doors and appliances please see our Pricing & special offers page.

Do you do building work too?

Yes, we are very happy to help with the building work and use trusted and experienced builders.

Are your carcasses (kitchen cabinets) flat packed or ready assembled?

An important part of the kitchen is the carcass as it takes all the weight of the worktop, doors, and appliances, plus whatever is stored inside. Our carcasses come in 19mm thickness and are delivered ready assembled which makes the fitting easier and faster - saving you time and money.
If you go down the flat packed route you may save money initially, however, the construction methods you'll be expected to master are inferior to the methods used by the trade (e.g. glue and dowel construction in workshop), plus you'll need to factor in the time and cost to build these.

What kind of worktops do you sell?

Worktops are a very important part of your kitchen design. We have hundreds of styles and finishes: from the stylish glamour of granite, the traditional feel of solid timber, the smooth finish of a whole host of composite worktops to premium laminates in a wide array of colours and finishes.

Do you sell integrated and/or free standing appliances?

We sell integrated and free standing appliances. We can supply appliances from Bosch and Caple but are happy to supply other brands too, plus supply and fit appliances only.

Are your kitchen doors made from solid wood?

Are your cabinets made from a sustainable source?

Yes, all board used in the manufacture of our kitchen cabinets are from a sustainable and responsible source.

Why don't you have a shop?

Our philosophy is simple: keep overheads down, prices low and quality high. For this reason we do not have a shop but work from our design workshop, so savings can be passed on to our customers.

Are your kitchens made to order?

Yes, every single kitchen is made to order to your personal design specification. We only begin to make and package your customised kitchen after your order has been placed.

This service is free and you are under no obligation to buy. We also offer a full installation service by skilled fitters. If you decide to go ahead with buying the kitchen we will double check measurements and discuss any tweaks that you may wish to make.

Do you have 3D software to show the design?

Yes, we use Planit Fusion software which allows our customers to get a really good understanding of how their new kitchen will look when it's completed, as it's possible to produce some really stunning visual representations of kitchens.

Is the design free?

Yes, the 3D design is free and you are under no obligation to purchase the kitchen.

How do you work out your pricing?

Each kitchen is different and is worked out on an individual basis. The price will depend on the size of the kitchen, type of doors, appliances, worktops, etc chosen, plus whether or not you'd like us to install your kitchen. If you have an idea of how much you want to spend we can help advise you on what will or won't be possible within your budget and suggest alternative ideas to help stretch your budget as far as we can.

Is the cost of delivery included in the price?

Yes, delivery of your kitchen is included within the price.

How quickly can you deliver my new kitchen?

We will always try to deliver your kitchen within the timescales you require. However, please bear in mind that as every kitchen is made to order to your personal design specification, we generally estimate from the point of officially contracting your order an average of 4 - 6 weeks. Your designer will discuss your delivery date with you during your design appointment and will try to accommodate your needs wherever possible.
